but not in the 14aj 410 sprint. After tonights ASCS rainout in Wheatland..........looks like Johnson took the yellow Hammers 94 - 360 sprinter out for the Knoxville Mid-Season Championships. And wins it. Over a 35 car field that included all the knoxville regs and Jake Peters among others. I hope those Mississippi car owners are awfully happy.....they should be. There are maybe just a small handful of drivers that can do what Wayne Johnson is doin right now in that car. Gary Wright has been in as good a form as ever on the ascs trail........for Wayne Johnson to only be 6 points behind.......amazing.
Congrats to the former Sooner. Personally, I hope he takes that 50k ascs championship. speedweek, Knoxville 360 Nationals, Devil's Bowl Winter Nationals, Short Track Nationals.......this points race is gonna be awfully fun to watch.

Yep, Wayne's one of the best around these parts and sometimes underrated by too many too. And Gary Wright is the all-time best 360 racer IMO.
But you better keep an eye on another Johnson this year in that ASCS hunt, the Knoxville 360 Nationals and the Knoxville Nationals 410 version where the Lanny Row #41 team from Texas finished third last year and nearly had 2nd. The Racin' Cajun from Louisiana, Jason Johnson is charging up the standings again y'all!

Wayne took over the ASCoT point lead in Missouri. Jason won the last race and is now second. Gary Wright had trouble all night and fell to third but it's dang near a 3-way tie. This 3-way ASCoT race for the $50,000 top prize is going down to the wire!
