Leppo was faster, just tagged the wall and got spooked and finished 2nd. Hodnett missed the dash by one and had a bad night. Even Dollansky was faster than Schatz and wrecked.

Schatz had our number five years ago, but he's still not the Schatz of old around here. Tonight he won simply because he was a front row ho like the rest of the also rans usually are. Good luck to the #15 team next year...they are going to need it again.

Schatz is 100% outlaw. He's Anti-Posse. Kryptonite. We'll string him up next year. He has never recovered yet from the last tire rule three years ago and a new one is coming.

It honestly is sad watching the fall of Steve Kinser first hand however. No one wants to see a train wreck like that. They want to remember them in their prime like young Elvis. Curious how the whole thing plays out with Tony Stewart especially if Gerkin retires.

The things Leppo could do with equipment like that week in and week out...

Would have loved to see a restart at the end. Darrah and Pittman were comin' fast...

Racey track again, props.

dollansky didn't wreck. he was taken out by a posse car bouncing off the fence.

lap times didn't show leppo as faster.

looks like schatz found your number again. thanks to allen krimes.

As neat as it was seeing him and Stevie as teammates, maybe the Zemco crew will think about offering him the seat next year. I can hope.

The streak now looks unreal in retrospect, 9 straight by the locals. While I'm sure cubes and a few others who'll be claiming mcmahans win, that's now 7 of 8 for the non- regulars at the grove and 6 of 8 for the outlaws.

I think the Schuhart kid is a better choice for the Zemco team he doesn't have bad habits driving the car.

Watching the times on the WoO live scoring...Leppo was NOT faster!

Dollansky had the field covered until the back marker caused the problem.

Up until that time, Dollansky was running from 1.4 to 2.3 seconds ahead of Schatz and 2.5 to 3.2 seconds faster than Leppo.

Fan loyalty is one thing....insane posting is another!

Not the biggest 15 fan but I got to give it up to Schatz. He is the only woo driver to win in California two weeks ago, won Knoxville and the National Open at Williams Grove. He deserves the Championship this year.

Leppo was faster. He made a run on Schatz several times.

If IFs and BUTs were CANDY and NUTS, what a Merry Christmas we'd always have. How the devil can this guy be so lucky year after year after year after year after year after year. Just amazing. We know he can't drive a race car. He just happens to be in the right place at the right time year after year after year after year after year after year (get the picture you jealous azzholes).

Kind of like da Bum in charge in D.C., you know the Teleprompter President, the liberal media still calls him a genius, yet he needs a pair of monitors on each side to read even a 30 second announcement, this F student who has nearly wrecked out country. He just now reminded me of watching a napscar race: looks to the left for 5 seconds then he's looking to the right for 5 seconds, then to the left monitor for 5 seconds, then the right monitor for 5 seconds and bck and forth until done reading his seech, just like a napscar race, look right, then look left, then look right then left--boring. Napscar on tv though, pretty good show what with 8,000 cameras covering the action.

Lawlessness + liberalism = HELL - NYC, Detroit, Chicago,
Seattle, LA Who the H runs those cities.

Leppo was faster, just not aggressive enough to take it. He did try a couple of slidejobs but gave Donny enough room to get back by. For 50 grand I thought he would have run Scahtz to the wall. Had he been out in the open air nobody would have caught him. Nobody was gonna catch Dollansky though. He was opening up his lead in traffic, tough break for him. Kharma some might say.

PS. These WOO inverts are BS. These cars are so equal, it makes no sense to penalize the fastest timers. I don't think Donny passed anyone all night but thanks to the 4 car invert for heats and #8 pill drawn for the dash, it was his lucky night.

This is actually quite true. Schatz didn't pass anyone in his heat or the A-main(other than lapped traffic). Dollansky wrecked and Darrah penalized on a restart. And the only driver to pass him was the man pleaser Craig Dollansky in the A main.

Wasn't questioning the facts, merely said no one could get by him either. Not an easy feat against that type of field.
