Heard today that the USAC show at Dodge City in October has been cancelled with no make-up date.


"I'd pay $15 to watch a sprint car sit still."

Huummmm. Makes one wonder if the whole USAC operation of the track may be over. Seems like the city council really expects their track managers to make a profit. They are the only speedway in the country that sells out the world of outlaws and still loses money. Several of the old time tracks/promoters won't even run an outlaw show since the purse and fees have gone to the level that that they have. It takes a $40 ticket price with a big crowd to even break even these days,
