Is THE REF, aka Mayor of Sedalia, hanging out here these days? Last I heard he was starting a national 360 series due to the death of 410 racing.

The ASCS Warrior Region MO-KAN Sprint Car Shootout this weekend is supposed to have 32 cars according to this article: http://www.inthepits.net/kc/2012/08/15/three-race-weekend-for-speedway-motors-ascs-warrior-region/

And once again Quality over Quantity was proven. Even if there were 100 cars for our show last night the race would've had the same great action and outcome.
There were three major factors on car count.
1. It was a Thursday night, a lot of the Kansas cars didn't come because they had to work today.
2. Humboldt rained out Tuesday night, probably kept some travelers away until the weekend since they couldn't hit up another show on the swing.
3. We have TWO (2) cars that live within a 75 mile radius of the track. This just isn't Sprint Car territory.

Outlawfan, a dump? really? apparently you haven't been there in awhile . I agree when the track first reopened the dust and quality of show is what you would expect from new officials and management but they have definitely learned from past mistakes and have done a fine job making things A LOT better! Keep up the good work Salina Speedway.
The racing last night VERY VERY good. Good job Salina speedway on having a dust free tacky track the whole night.
Compliments to Kevin Swindell on a job well done.

I don't look at it as quanity vs quality. I look at it from a drawing attraction. When a major touring series, in any type of racing, is not able to draw enough cars to start a full field in their feature race there is something very lacking. Just an opinion.

Quantity and quality? 35 cars at Creek last night, all the ASCS tour regulars, the Sooner region point leaders, throw in a Swindle and Hafertepe and hell, I thought it was a great show!
