I think this point also applies to the king.... As long as Tony Stewart is footing the bills and worrying about the money end of it, why would Steve hang it up??? Where else is he going to show up for a pay check anywhere near as big as it is now?? Until he physically can't do it anymore or is nothing more than a backmarker and is noted as an 'also ran' we have a few more chances to see Steve kick the crap out of kids 1/2-1/3 his age. And I can't forsee TSR letting the king go anytime soon.

Seemed like a lot of people who were capable of running up front had trouble moving up or just going nowhere at times this year. Bet both will be in the A next year. Neither one of them have anything they need to prove when it comes to racing.

The baddest man to ever walk the planet lost three fights in a row last year. All the fights were extremely questionable. That man, Fedor, is traveling all over the world right now destroying every man that dares look him in the face. Kinda have a feeling Steve Kinser is a lot like "The Last Emporer" in times like these. Beware you so called Outlaws.

Just think about it from a merchandising view point. HE ANNOUNCES THROUGH VARIOUS MEDIA OUTLETS TWO WEEKS BEFORE THE MONTH OF MONEY that this will be his last Kings Royal, Silver Cup, NATIONALS. Think he will make more money on the track or under the grand stands. Shirts, hats, hoodies, diecast, stickers, anything u can think of will have FAREWELL TOUR plastered all over it. And EVERY sprint car fan will be standing in line for hours just to get their hands on it all. He would be crazy to walk away and not cash in on that craze. Heck even if he announced it in feb during Florida speed weeks he has the entire season to laugh all the way to the bank!!!!

The old guy who drove the 43 car in Napcar had a farewell tour awhile back and reports have him grossing the north side of 20 million for the year in accessory sales alone,now thats enough to keep him in cowboy hats and cigars for while huh?As for as The Bloomington Bandit,don't count him out yet,he still has spark plugs he hasn't used.I must say though,I think there is a lot of profit in a can of STP considering what all they spend in racing now days,just think about all the teams,the deals,show vehicles,related performance shows and general publicity functions they stage......at the same time look at Office Depot man thats a heck of a lot of erasers,they must supply the White House because of all the mistakes they have made the last three or so years.....and those guys at Bass Pro,they sure have to replace a ton of lost tackle too.
