18 360 sprint cars ..... FT: Sheridan ..... Heat One: Mitchell, Douglass, Sheridan, C. Gansen ... Faria KO'd trying to pass Douglass for the lead; Showtime also collected but restarted ..... Heat Two: Niemela, Ligget, Kaeding, Gardner ... Bud's front shocks seemed to be out of whack ..... Heat Three: Bernal, Kirkbride, Carlile, Dolacki ..... A Main start order: Kaeding, Bernal, Niemela, Sheridan, Carlile, Gardner, Kirkbride, Mitchell, Ligget, Dolacki, Douglass, C. Gansen, Faria, Barnes, Haldeman, Murray, Jones, Knight ..... Conspicuously absent: The VanderWeerd brothers, Justyne, Greg Taylor, Chris Ennis, Brody Roa ..... A Main finish order (through eighth): Bernal, Sheridan, Mitchell, Kaeding, Faria, Gardner, Niemela, Carlile ..... Showtime and Ryan went at it, exchanging the lead several times ..... Bud was in it for a while ..... Faria came to fifth from 13th ..... Not quite as good a crowd as for the 410s last week, but still pretty good ..... The track was pretty rugged in turn one; everyone was bouncing around a lot ..... 40-odd-time CRA and SCRA main event winner Mike Kirby showed everyone else how it is done in the IMCA late models, running laps in the :14s much of the time in what was almost (save for the first lap) a wire-to-wire win.

Chris Ennis, Car 86, is in a exchange student program in Denmark at the Danish Institue of studies Abroad working on his Masters Degreee in Architecture. He will return to action at Kings Speedway on September 8th. He will finish out the year driving the West Coast Series, limited action in amidget, and also racing a micro sprint at Plaza Park Raceway in Visalia. He loves the sprints. good luck toall of the great drivers in this outstanding series. Both a credit to the Chris Kearns, Promotor, and theoutstanding caliber of drivers in the series.
