Going to be in Santa Fe NM. this summer and was wondering if any sprint car racing is near by?

http://www.napaspeedway.com which is in ABQ about an hour away from Santa Fe. If you care to drive the 5 hours from Santa Fe to Cruces then check out the renegades.

To bad the Hollywood Speedway shut down a few years back. I drove by it a few days ago and it looks like everything is still in place and could open again without a lot of work. The entry building that was the issue in it's closing is still there but if it is indeed unsafe, could be demolished and replaced with ticket booths. There must be more to this facility shutting down than we were ever made aware of. It could have been and could still be a premier facility.
