USMTS Modifieds began a 5-day swing through Missouri tonight. These are Southern "Region" (not to be confused with Southern Series which has it's own seperate point fund) events. Tonight's show was at I-70 in Odessa, MO tonight, then L A Raceway in LaMonte, MO tomorrow night, Thursday, June 14th.
But then on Friday the 15th, they drop in on the Missouri Ozarks with Bolivar USA on Friday night, Lebanon I-44 on Saturday the 16th and Monett on Sunday the 17th. All five of these pay $2000 to win.

I understand that Eddie Martin is racing up there begining tonight.
I am playing the weather but I will make at least one Missour, USMTS race (Saturday night) and maybe Friday and Sunday night depending on the weather here.

Greg Skaggs of Bixby, Oklahoma (now there's a town full of racers!) won the first of five Missouri USMTS races in a row. He passed and outran Kelly Shryock to do it and did it on Kelly's 42nd birthday! Of course, it wasn't all bad for Shryock as he finished 2nd and Skaggs drives a Skyrocket Chassis built by Shryock. Jesse Stovall came from 19th to 5th! 30 cars on a Wednesday night.
Top ten:
1. 27 - Greg Skaggs -- Bixby, OK (5) 2. 3 - Kelly Shryock -- Fertile, IA (4) 3. 222 - Dustin Boney -- Tonganoxie, KS (1) 4. 7 - Al Hejna -- Clear Lake, IA (13) 5. 00 - Jesse Stovall -- Galena, MO (19) 6. 5 - Steve Holzkamper -- Gentry, AR (12) 7. 12 - Johnny Bone Jr. -- Pea Ridge, AR (17) 8. 51 - Eddie Martin -- Stilwell, OK (3) 9. 31j - Jeremy Rasmussen -- Bentonville, AR (2) 10. 49x - Jay Poidinger -- Somerset, WI (14)

46 cars tonight in Lamonte. Up from 30 last night and some big guns -- Phillips, Payne, P. Taylor -- have joined in.
Zack VanderBeek drew the pole with Terry Phillips outside. Row 2 was Jeremy Payne and Missouri's Jason Bodenhamer. Johnny Bone was having a good night and started 6th. The Skyrocket boys -- Shryock and Skaggs were in row 4.
Peyton Taylor won a B main to make the show and Micheal "The Kid" Murphree in the #51 normally driven by Troy Godwin also made the A through one of the Bs.
Eddie Martin missed the A after a top ten run last night but his teammate/car owner and D&M Chassis driver Alan Sharpensteen just made it to the A.
Jeremy Rasmussen (Bentonville) and Tammy Mitchell (Pea Ridge) were a couple of Arkies who tried as well but missed the A tonight. Rasmussen made the A in Odessa. West Plains regular and former Boone Super Nationals top five finisher Rex Merritt made the A though!
Louisiana's Timmy Culp waaaayyy up north again but apparently didn't have a good night.
In the feature....
GRT driver Jeremy Payne moves from row 2 to the lead on lap 1 and leads the other 39 for the win! And lapped his boss who was tenth!
Eric Turner 13th to 3rd! That's an Allen Motorsports Chassis.
Okie teammates Jason Hughes and Tommy Weder had bad wrecks in Odessa last night and couldn't even start the feature there even though they both had provisionals. Better tonight as Hughes got fourth and even though Weder got the last provisional, he finished the feature at least with a respectable 16th. Peyton and Terry Beckham were the only 2 DNFs tonight as opposed to 9 DNFs and 2 DNSs last night in the 24-car A. Murphree brought home a 14th tonight. That 51 from New Mexico that Michael drove used to be a GRT. Is it still a GRT?

Only a 20% chance of rain in Bolivar tonight with a low of 66. Should be real nice . Go check out the best Modified show on dirt! (or asphalt for that matter but that goes without saying )

from Bolivar so far tonight: (43 cars entered)
Here's the redraw cars. One of these 8 will start on the pole.
VanderBeek, Zack 33z 62.5 Shryock, Kelly 3 60.5 Payne, Jeremy 74 60.5 Bone Jr., Johnny 12b 60.5 Stovall, Jesse 00 59 Hejna, Al 7 59 Clark, Gary 4g Martin, Eddie 51
Here's 9-12:
Skaggs, Greg 27 56.5 Hughes, Jason 12 55 Roach, Mike 33R 55 Beckham, II, Terry 118 53
Top from 5s from the Bs fill in rows 7-11:
B Main 1 Finish Driver Homtwon - (Starting Position) 1 71 - Jason Meadors -- Fordland, MO (2) 2 88d - Rusty Dukes -- Fair Grove, MO (5) 3 18s - Brent Bohmont -- Martell, NE (14) 4 7II - Matt Johnson -- Archie, MO ( 5 99 - Randy Zimmerman -- Fort Scott, KS (4)
B main 2 1 222 - Dustin Boney -- Tonganoxie, KS (2) 2 56 - Tony Jackson -- Lebanon, MO (3) 3 75 - Terry Phillips -- Springfield, MO (10) 4 02 - Tommy Weder, Jr -- Woodward, OK (7) 5 25 - Scott Green -- Derby, KS (4)
The last two spots are provisionals. Your only allowed one provisional for every 10 races of a region or series you enter.
Steve Holzkamper and Jeremy Chambers should get 'em tonight. I think Scott Green and Tommy Weder used one last night.

Last night in Lebanon, Jason Hughes topped a 40-car USMTS field. He was the fourth differemt winner of the week with Greg Skaggs, Jeremy Payne and Johnny Bone, Jr. being the other three. Steve Holzkamper may have been the guy to beat though as his TRE took the lead on lap 3 and held it until loosing a motor with 8 to go. Them big tracks up there are tough on the ponies!
You may notice that Kelly Shryock has not won this week yet which is highly unusual but most likely means he'll win at Monett Speedway tonight but with this race being the only show going, he should have 40 or 50 good cars to overcome if he plans on doing that!
Kudos to Louisiana's Kyle Pleasant for his 13th last night in Lebanon.

I've seen 30 there for a regular show.Yea, I think the locals sometimes duck the big dogs, especially with a $100 entry fee but I also think Wheatland (Lucas Oil Speedway) may have hurt too. Eric Turner had a top five with USMTS earlier in the week but ran Wheatland on Saturday. Probably for points.
Only 32 at Monett on Sunday but there was rain in and around Monett for that one. I'm sure that hurt. Still, Kelly Shryock won that one with Louisiana's Kyle Pleasant getting his best USMTS finish with a 2nd! The most curious no-show there was TRE builder and driver Steve Holzkamper.
