Was checking out ticket prices for the World of Outlaws event at Eagle Raceway on the SLS promotions web site and it says pit passes $40 ea? I havent been to a outlaws event in about 5 years, is it really 40 bucks to get into the pits after the races? we always just went in after the races to buy souviners at the drivers trailers. With tickets being $35 ea and a pit pass being $40 ea that is a pretty expensive Friday night at the track! if i'm reading this right.

Pit Passes are to get into the pits during the races. After the races the pits are always open for free so fans can go see the drivers and get shirts and stuff.

You don't need to purchase a pit pass to go to the pits AFTER the races.

Don't go to a lot of races do you

I have never seen a charge to go to the pits after the race

Might be an ignorant question, but I always thought those pit pass prices were for drivers and crew members only. Maybe the WoO doesn't charge drivers or crew members??? All Stars? I know local tracks make a lot of money thru the back gate from drivers and crews, but don't know why anyone would want to be in the pits to watch the races. But I really enjoy going to the pits after the races, what a great time, the smells, the hammering, happy faces, not so happy faces, look forward to seeing the after-race action in there.

Lawlessness and liberalism equals Hell. NY City,
Detroit, Seattle, Chicago, Minnepolis, etc. We saw it.
Burning hundreds of buildings, a thousand assaults and
dozens of murders. Getting worser and worser.

Actually i do go to alot of races, just haven't been to an outlaws race in along time. Im used to there being a grandstand price and a pit price at the pit window for drivers or crews. Ive never seen them offer free pit passes when you reserve your seats ahead of time or pay $40 day of, thats all. Its always been youre either in the stands or the pits.

At Volusia County Speedway you can get a free pit pass with your general admission ticket. This is in February, not sure if they do it all year.

It's a pretty expensive night at the track no matter how you slice it up! It looks like if you purchase a reserved seat in advance, you can pay $30.00 for the seat alone or $35.00 for the seat and a pitpass.

I have been thinking about this but will wait to see what the weatherman says before doing it....if I remember right SLS's refund policy is not very, ummmm, "consumer friendly" and I will not have a chance to attend any make-up date.
