Author Donna Wilson, brother Jerry and Harold Leep will all be attending the Chili Bowl next week to sign and sell copies of the
New book, The Offy Killer, Chet Wilson-The Man Behind The Legend.
Donna will be attending the Chili Bowl Wednesday, through Saturday. On Saturday Donna, Harold, and Jerry will be available for
A book signing at the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame booth. On Friday, Harold and Donna will be available to sign copies
Of the book at High Banks Hall of Fame booth.
Donna will also be available at the Flat Out booth through out the week. Visit with Donna, and check out her book. Its a fine read,
and has many great pictures of midgets, sprints, and supers, as well as the stars of yesteryear, including Harold, Grady Wade,
Walt McWhorter, Frankie Lies, Cotton Musick, Jud Larson, Jay Woodside, Roy Bryant, Dale Reed, Jan Opperman, and
Lloyd Ruby among others.

My "Flat Out" came yesterday and it had part of a chapter in it and was very good reading.

I called Jerry to order Donna's book the week before the Chili Bowl. I know Jerry is a busy person, but I asked if he would drag it to Tulsa to get autographs from Donna and Harold Leep, as well as his own. He made no promises but said he would do what he could.
I got the book today, and is even more than I expected. It will take many nights to read and absorb all the info and to study the pictures. What a treasure to put all this together to honor Chet. Even more, Jerry did get the autographs for me, and a real surprise was an autograph from Bob Mays. Since I also have his book, High Plains Thunder, this was an added plus.
I know Chet and all the people mentioned in the book would be thrilled with the love and effort that Donna put into the book.
