I am trying to plan a trip for the summer of 2012 . I will only have 3-4 nights there. Looking for suggestions as to dates and tracks to see the most and best racing. Thanks

Do either Midget week,or the 2nd weekend of Sprintweek.
I kind of favor midget week,as they have non wing sprints every night as the support class.

The first weekend of Sprint Week runs from Gas City to Kokomo to Lawrenceburg. There is a break until Wednesday, then it's Terre Haute, Lincoln Park, Bloomington and Haubstadt. I guess it all depends on how much time you want to spend and how much driving you want to do.

I would ask the same question at http://www.indianaopenwheel.com They are much more focused on USAC racing, wingless racing and the state of Indiana. The message board there is as good as this one.

2nd week of sprint week this year, terre haute/lincoln park/bloomington/ all 3 fairly close together so not a bunch of travel time if you get a room in the neighborhood....last night down in the sw corner of the state at haubstadt. 4 nights wed thru sat, different track configuration each night, it's all good.
REMEMBER OUR TROOPS!!!

Thanks for all the info. I am leaning toward the 2nd half of sprint speedweeks. Looks like a lot of racing for a minimal amount of travel.
