I am suppose to meet with Brian Thursday to give him some tapes to convert to DVD and to post on youtube.
Among them are the following:
1986 1st Annual Tulsa Shootout
1985 USAC Sprints at Riverside (The Ditch) Speedway in West Memphis, Arkansas
1986 SWIMS Midgets at Fairgrounds Speedway in OKC.
1984 Both nights of the 2nd annual NCRA/USAC Silver Crown Challenge

Hey does the '84 usac vs ncra video have the helicopter flight with Tony and Stoney on it? That impressed the hell out of my Dad! He still talks about it now and then.

Yes, show the helicopter flying out of the infield and Pat Sullivan talking about it and what money can do...

Tony Armstrong told me they had a bad night in Tulsa too, from what I remember.
Sure money made it happen, but it was an added spectacle to the show. hard to believe they didn't make the feature that night in OkC! But that was a hardcore field loaded with wingless big car talent.
I got a big kick out of getting to see the OFIXCO Grant King car which was driven by Shuman. I think it was the GK car- I've noticed they had another car later with a track nose fitted to it also. That car showed up in 1985 with Kramer Williamson at the helm.
