Wonder if the Pevely August event, Iron Man 55... has any plans to become one of the premier events on the schedule?

Unfortunatley, they have that the weekend before the 410 Knoxville Nationals which puts it in direct competition with the 360 Knoxville Nationals. It will be hard to grow into a premier event with that date on the schedule.
In fact, I believe that it has gone from a two day show to a one day show.

About the Dakota races: Great that Fargo (RRV Speedway) has a date, now the WoO will have two short tracks to duel on and as great a shows the All Stars put on in Fargo past 2 years, expect even better with WoO. ust have got the SLS promotions problem out of the way or compromised. Downside is Grand Forks can't be happy with a one night show. I'm positive they'd like to have had both nights and give Fargo a night a month earlier or a month later. Wouldn't think Fargo would want to be immediately after Grand forks, nor would Grand Forks (River Cities Speedway) want to be immediately after Fargo. For sure, Grand Forks officials are not happy. A 2 niter is always a big money maker for them if the rain stays away.
Husets stuck with one date. Maybe that's all they wanted, but have to believe they would prefer two separate dates. I was always told that they made their money off these shows which in turn allowed them to make improvements. One night Husets, one night Forks, me sad. But Fargo has a date, hopefully with All Stars and Smoke again, both late models and sprints. How hard would it have been to put Fargo or Grand Forsk a month apart and give Forks a two-nighter. Also wouldn't miss Princeton for the world. Hopefull more dates wil ge announced. And poor Minot, once again inthe middle of harvest season which means not a full grand stands again. To bad. All in all, I'll take it.
PS to my signature line in response to you know::the mind guy, casey luna guy, his signature line: "Don O'Neal's Late Model captures the 2011 Knoxville Nationals and Jimmy Owens wraps up the title in the Lucas Oil LM series both w/Cornett Chevy power. Lawlessness and liberalism equals Hell. NY City,
Detroit, Seattle, Chicago, Minnepolis, etc. We saw it.
Burning hundreds of buildings, a thousand assaults and
dozens of murders. Getting worser and worser.
