I've gone back to continuing the "Heroes of the Supermodified Persuaion" effort. I'm looking at making the first 20 minute video as an introduction to what opens to a series of vids covering each of the sister tracks, NCRA influenced , mainly in the 1970's--but I'm thinking I need to expound more on the 60's now.

Anyway, here's OkC and OkC related. Yes I had to 'borrow' pics from everybody. There was so much, I had to cut quite a few out but I left the most impressive I've seen in. And a few 'thank you' shots too.

To Mayor Mick Cornett- No Christmas card from me this year either, so don't bother to even look.

First song is "Once Upon a Time In The West"

I agree with Ted, need to slow the pictures changes down if you can....but very well done. Got me a little misty eyed.

Yeah they put some of our stuff up on there, they have a lot of reach. They offered to pay for the use, but it might have ended up being 50 cents.

Great video. Saw my dads 33 and 68 cars a couple of times. I even make an appearance standing behind my dads car.

Gotta love it, flat bed trailers, stationwagons with fake wood trim, pickups with camper shells towing a super on an open trailer. Good stuff.

Ray Evernham has been working with Humpy Wheeler promoting a series that is pretty much Legends Cars but with a supermodified body. That would be a neat show at I 44. Might even get some of us old guys out to the track again.

Very well done.

Monty Grice from OkC (son of builder Doc Grice), had a lot of influence in getting those bodies to look like ours from the 1970's.

Thanks guys

I know the pics move too fast, but I was trying to pack every single cool picture into the timeframe of one video on the 'tube' and fit the running time of the music. Getting time to make it near perfect , is hard to have these days.
