Nicely done. If I ever own a car I know what paint scheme I am going to use.

I love the '85-'87 Nance cars! I have 2 '87 models.
When it comes to sprinters and NCRA Champ Dirt cars, they had the kickass look i liked then and still do now.

I like the nance car back in 78 or 79. They wanted to copy karl kinser car and he told them no. But late 70`s were the one i liked. I also like the ncra 100 inch car they had. I did not know lloyd stephen had so many different race teams.

Nance was a supporter of the 1978 Kinser team, and the design for his 1980 cars looked very much inspired from the Kinser/Mitchell chassis.
Gaines had wadded the first '78 car up and was on the mend from what I understand. Karl goes to build a new car, and Laverne steps in to offer parts . The 1980 white #1n sure looks like it was inspired from #11 to me.

The roll cages are looking much alike, but the cars were built different-or so it looks to me.
The car here , could be built one side at a time, and then stood up and joined together on a jig. The Mitchell version looks like it was built ground up.
I think Laverne Nance got the idea for the 1980 car from looking at the Mitchell chassis.

There was alot collaberation between Nance and Karl Kinser on this car.
But there was a good reason for that I think, and winning the title didn't hurt one bit either.
