Hey Mark, is Chad out of the 1m for good? What's the scoop?

Inquring minds would like to know.

I've been a huge fan of Chad since he started running at Knoxville and it sure would be a shame to not get to see him run there, or elsewhere for that matter.

I seem to recall mention that Chad had other plans and so they put someone else in it. At least that is what was said a while back. Still Chads ride....or so it was said

Looks like Chad got married on September 24th. Long honeymoon maybe? wink

Any updates on this? I see more races added on to Mark's schedule that weren't there earlier in the year.

Lasoski's finishing out the year in the #1m. The rest is TBD.

That's not cool. I thought Chad was a pretty good driver, but Mark has been around a lot longer then I have and trust he knows what's best for his team. As just a fan, I hope he has Billy Alley drive a little for him and see if they can get things figured out. They are from the same kneck of the woods and both are extremely competitive. I know Billy just sold all of his stuff, and will only race if he thinks he has a shot of winning, so this could be a perfect match.

For what it's worth Danny is a hell of a driver I just don't see him running the 360 schedule that the 1m will want to run.

Don Droud Jr. would be awesome in that car again when he is not behind the wheel of the #47.

Mark is one of the last true car owners. One of the last rides you can get without paying $1,000"s a night to drive it. I am grateful for people like Mark Burch.

Thanks to everyone for the comments, kind words, suggestions, etc. Let me make this crystal clear. I am NOT interviewing drivers period. If Chad Humston was not capable of piloting the 1m I would have never asked him in the first place. Danny Lasoski is going to run some of the remaining big money races for me this month and next. This serves two purposes. 1.) It gives me the best opportunity to win with a Hall of Fame caliber driver, and 2.) It gives me some much needed feedback so that I can evaluate my overall program as I plan for 2012. 2012 is TBD as reported by IBRACN. The end. Mark Burch Lincoln NE

I kinda wanted to try something like this................but Shane Stewart was busy, and my son reminded me that I'm the problem, and then Paul Silva was busy.

So we're screwed..........and stuck with each other.

Good luck in 2012 and the rest of 2011 Mark.
