by Dusty Wiegert
SALINA, Kan. -- With the regular season out of the way the attention of race fans and drivers now turns to the Salina Speedway for the inaugural Fall Fling on Friday & Saturday October 7-8, 2011.

Amongst the over 150 pre-entries so far are two National Champions and multiple Regional and State Champions in all divisions.
Drivers will draw for starting positions in Friday night's heat races. The top fifteen cars in overall passing points will then run an A Scramble, of which the top six drivers will earn starting spots for positions one thru 6 for Saturday night's Championship Feature.
