Headed to the Burg next sat for the usac/mscs show and wondering if anyone besides me wishes they had just built the new facility around the old race track. Don't get me wrong, the new place is great, a first class racin joint. But....it's a different kind of racin, more momentum, speed I suppose, while the racin at the old joint was more of a dog eat dog affair. You know, big heavy cushion, backinem in, peelin up big heavy strips of clay, monster grip, everything but the rr in the air at times. How bout it?
