Chad Boespflug was honored as the 2011 Lawrenceburg Speedway, Lawrenceburg Chevrolet Track Champion on Saturday night. Chad also was in victory lane celebrating his third victory of the year. He took the green flag from the sixth position, while the front row consisted of Brandon Whited and Michael Fischesser. After 2 consecutive red flags for accidents involving Kevin Thomas, Jr. Shawn Westerfeld and John Memmer, the race would finally complete a lap with Justin Grant leading the first 5 laps until a flat right rear tire sent him to the pits for a new tire. That turned the lead over to Michael Fischesser who was seeking his first win at Lawrenceburg. Grant would change the tire and come back out at the end of the line. Fischesser and Boespflug battle it out for the lead for the next 4 laps until Boespflug took the lead on lap 11. As Boespflug took the lead, Grant was already in the top 5 and moving his way to the front. With about 5 laps to go, Grant had caught the leader Boespflug. Grant would try to make a move around Boespflug for the win but was not able to make it work. Boespflug held on for the feature win. Finishing behind Grant in third was Fischesser, followed by Logan Hupp and Dwayne Spille. Heat race winners were Grant, Memmer, and Westerfeld. The final top 5 in the Lawrenceburg Chevrolet Sprint Car points were Boespflug, Hupp, Westerfeld, Fischesser, and Brady Short.
