I read a month ago on Eckert's write up on the Nationals 2011, that the plan for the first weekend of Iowa Speedweek is the following:

"For the next Nationals, there is a Saturday sketch to pair ASCS with USAC to clear Sunday for the World of Outlaws."

http://www.sprintcarstats.com/news/?i=8987

Has anyone else heard this? I think that Saturday doubleheader would be awesome. And to bring the Outlaws in on Sunday would bring a really big crowd.

Its sounds cool to me.

But I would like to see something different with the Front Row Challenge. The track at Osky sucks, one line with little passing and nobody will take the challenge. Time for a change.

The track prep has sucked for the last 2 or 3 years .... I dunno what happened on Tuesday night but that was beyond ridiculous.

I never go to the weekly show (and from what I hear ... no one else does either) but the guys that I work with that were (key word ... WERE) said it was bone dry (no track prep of any type that afternoon) one night this year at 7:00 and it was almost 10:00 before the racing started due to putting water on and packing the track AFTER the advertised time for racing to start.

The crowd was seemed pretty sparse Monday night and I would wonder how many will come back after the Tuesday night issues with dust?

Me ??? I'll continue to go .......... for now ..... but there should be some BIG changes made if they wish to continue making these viable events.

I think the track is fine if they moved in the tires a little, regraded it maybe, and made the track a little drier, although not to the extreme of the USAC race.

Not sure about Knoxville but don't waste even a single dollar at Osky on one of TMAC's crummy races. Save your money and take your wife to dinner like I did. She won't get covered in dust and you won't feel like a moron for throwing your money away. If you do go don't worry about getting any tickets in advace. PLENTY of open seats.....

Keep it the way it is, except make Sunday a true USAC night with sprints and midgets and get rid of the winged cars from that card...

If you want to change something change the way Mr sprint points system. Make them run all the nights like Jesse hocket done.b.Bacon should've won it this year.

Might be fun to have a 2 day USAC show at Osky with midgets as the undercard. Seems as though people may be tired of the Front Row Challenge.
