I will also have to mention that it was very hard to keep my pom poms under control watching Hodnett charge from the back not once but twice.

Outlaws 4th straight loss...

Congrats to Timmy...heatin' up at the right time......again.

Hope Lasoski is okay.

Also...more rough luck for Slammin'.

Slammin' got slammed into this time...by a shinny car which means it was either Dewease or McMahon. From DV it looked like McMahon...but the way Dewease had his hazards on all night, it wouldn't surprise me if it was him. Hopefully dirtstation.com releases a clearer video.

I'll say it again too.

"And how bout that whoopin' Shaffer put on the WoO and the Posse in the second feature from 17th! Who says that Kemenah guy can't turn wrenches? 2nd & a 1st & the 2011 Silver Cup Champ! Look out boyz' the C&H 83 team is heatin' up just about when they did last year. Go get 'em!"

And I agree, I hope Lasoski is OK. They never did say a word about his condition when they came back from the break.

Sounded like a whale of a show.

That was some great racing tonight. I can't wait to see the "Steel City Outlaw" strut his stuff in Winnipeg next week. Its the first time we've had a touring 410 series here at our local track in over 15 years. Some of the drivers that have commited so far are Shaffer, Blaney, Lasoski, Walker, Dobmeier, Hafertepe, Cap Henry, Gravel and the McCarl clan. Along with several other teams from the upper midwest. Should be a good little warm up for me before the Nationals.

It looked like it was "Slammin" Paul McMahon that tried to win the race on the restart with 18 laps to go. Took out a 3 contenders too. I guess we have all heard the saying "can't beat em' wreak em'."

Do you really think that it will be that good. I won't be there but I'am sure there will be about three filler classes of hobby/trucks and whatever they run weekly in Winnipeg. The last huge show was the Outlaws in the 80s and it was great. Working the front straight with Ted Johnson and Beryl Christian was part of my best racing memories. I was the pit steward from 1974 till Pete sold the facility. Sorryfully I haven't been back since.Just don't like to sit all night and watch 5-6 classes of cars.

Yes that was PMac with that divebomb move. Funny but just a bit earlier Shane and I were talking about how clean a driver he is and how he takes care of his equipment .... guess everybody gets to have their Mulligan every now and then

You're right about all the filler classes. I don't know what the owners of this place are thinking sometimes. Streets, trucks, supers, mods, and lates on the program along with 410 sprints. I'm just happy we get to see some good sprintcar drivers come and race here. I've limited my visits to RRCS to about 2 or 3 per season over the last 4-5 years. Rather drive the 2 hours to Grand Forks. But ya know, you gotta support your local track sometimes, especially when they're making the effort to bring in a touring sprint car series. I'm hoping for good weather, a good turnout of cars and a well prepared track. You need to come out and check out the old mud hole. LOL

It shouldn't be too big of a surprise when former Outlaws such as Dale Blaney, Tyler Walker or the very hot Tim Shaffer win these days, they are old pros who haven't forgot how to ride their bicycle so to speak. You'll have some BIG news when a Posse driver does it away from the one track they have a chance on, America's Slowest Half Mile. Heck, Mr. Hodnett also a former Outlaw winner had a couple of great runs last night when he only qualified out of the B due to a fluke on the last turn of the last lap. He along with Tim seemed to be the stars of the show last night.....

Agree, let's face it, Shaffer and Blaney are really Outlaws in "All Star" clothing. Both should be considered right up there with the best 410 drivers in the country. They both have proved they can compete with the Outlaws on any given night.

You can count Darryn Pittman & Stevie Smith in that group with Walker, Blaney, Hodnett and Shaffer also, among the elite in the sport....

I don't think Pittman, Stevie, Walker and Hodnett are in All-Star clothing. I would say moreso Outlaws in Posse clothing.

Tell me I'm wrong.

You can add Dewease to that list. Off night last night, but he is leading all of those drivers listed in ASCoC East points too. They don't run Williams Grove over and over you know.

I believe a couple people on this board told Hodnett to "run from the 39 as fast as possible" back in February. Said it then, said it now, doesn't matter what number is on the side, when you got Maxims with Cappetta power, Greg behind the wheel, and Lee on the wrenches, it was only a matter of time before the ducks were in a row.

Congrats to Shaffer and Blaney. It looks like Shaffer is right on target with 2010, and Blaney has been as fast this year as ever, almost ended that posse All-Star winning streak on a couple of occasions this year.

The 30c was terrible all night in fact I didn't see him pass one car all evening. Yeah...Lance is only the WG Points leader and Walker is only 9th, lol they never run here.

About the 39, I'm just wondering why they can't time trial. As MSPN said, he didn't even deserve to be in the show. Hindsight bias shows he clearly should have been, but without Tony stepping on his you know what, Hodnett watches from the trailer.

Those drivers I mentioned are in my thoughts as Outlaw calibre drivers, ie; among the best in the biz. They have been on the road and won on the road and are generally competitive wherever they go, not just one track....

Okay I misunderstood your statement, yes I agree.

However, Pittman has been lapped traffic the last few races on the road. I guarentee they won't be lapped traffic when they come home this weekend.

I think Lance has won at something like 27 (I might be off by 1 or 2) different tracks throughout his career? PA is a hot bed for racing, but we don't have THAT many tracks. I'm pretty good at math, so I'll do it: I believe that leaves 26 tracks that aren't williams grove?

My reference to "not running Williams Grove all the time" was in reference to the ASCoC Eastern Region, not any particular driver. Lance is leading those points over a large number of the drivers that were listed above, he obviously can drive at more than just the Grove, lol.

the Red 83 was FAST at the KR and was looking good until he got caught up in the ill advised slide job that took out the 2L, 9, 83 and 27.
