Steve Kinser once said he'd never be upset if someone used his name in the same sentence as Tommy Hinnershitz. Mario Andretti was a huge fan of Tommy's, and AJ Foyt admired him as well. Jud Larson was under the impression he was too much to tame, until he ran against the Great Tommy Hinnershitz.
If you ever get to go back in time, and see a sweet mannered , old looking guy with a nice looking race car in the Central Pennsy area, remember that sweet mannered old guy will blow your mind as to just how fast and scary these cars could be. Cajones? It's beyond that.
