Danny Wood wins the ASCS Lone Star race at Devil's Bowl tonight followed by Matt Covington, Travis Rilat, George White and Brian McClelland rounding out the top 5. He led all 25 laps but was challenged a couple times in lapped traffic.

Danny is the most underrated driver in the sport today. Having limited funding, a more than full time job and long spans between races, he still out-drives and outsmarts both youth and experience to win occasionally. A great run Danny, I wish I could have been there to see it. Good luck with the upcoming tour and 360 Nationals.

When they were in lapped traffic, he made an awesome move coming out of 4 to put two lapped cars between him and Covington. He dove under 2 guys racing for position and about collected the inside wall. That move sealed the deal. I agree with you that he is one of the most underrated drivers. Danny will always be one of our favorite drivers to watch.
