Might be a little early to start talking about it but Nationals is only about a month away wondering who everyone's winner will be also the surprise driver of the Nationals and the disappointment driver.

Sammy wins it. Surprise driver would be davey heskin ( Knoxville local with an amazing run last year). Biggest disappointment is a tough one.... Lasoski possibly. Has done amazing at Knoxville so far but does he have enough left in the tank to beat the best drivers in the world...... But who knows.

you're right about Big Game Treestands in victory lane knoxgasman, but it's going to be the 7 car. it's Dollansky's time, he's been consistant, might gel at the perfect time. Kyle Larson, if he gets a ride, will make the most of it and get everybody talking. Jason Myers seems to disappoint me, if not many others, too many times. maybe that will change this year...should be good

Biggest Surprise - Zomer
Biggest Dissappointment - Meyers
Sammy takes the win.
There's always the few surprises that make the feature virtue of a good time trial lap. Those drivers are impossible to predict until we see the time trial order.

Biggest surprise - Zomer (although it wouldn't really be a surprise since he has already proved himself at nationals)
Biggest disappointment - Lasoski (don't think he has what it takes since the format is so different from knoxville weekly that it would be too hard for him and he won't start upfront every race.)
Winner - Sammy has this one in the bag hands down

Yeah Lasoski has never been able to get a handle on the Nationals qualifying format.
I mean the guy has only made the A a couple times by pure luck, hardly ever started anywhere close to the front row on Sat night and has never sniffed victory lane.
Sammy wins it unless someone/something takes him out. Only car that will even challenge Sammy will be Schatz.
Lasoski and Zomer make the top 10
Surprise will be Tmac will be watching from the infield as Austin races in the A.

The GLR/Elite #14,Jason Meyers, man on a mission,he owes himself and his backers a win this time,no excuses,he will have his "A" game face on,don't bother him until its over,he won't let you down,it is actually the hardest place in America to win, that one race.

The Cliche award goes to Bet N Losen, lol. Now about that mission he's on, is it to win a race, any race this year, just askin'?....

Mc Mahon has been bad fast. If he can get through his heat he'll be a threat. Top 5 I'd say: Sammy, McMahon, Meyers, Steve, and Schatz. Top Knoxville regular will be Zomer in about 6th then Brown 10-12th and Dude 13-15th.
A lot of great cars but I think everyone knows they have to get by Sammy to win.

I still think it is too difficult to call. Honestly I think it will be too difficult to call until after the first two qualifying nights. There are so many great racers that are going to show up and so many variables lie in the track conditions, weather conditions, and the crucial time trial order. Obviously Sammy and Schatz are going to be favorites, but anybody including them are complete wild cards. I love the Nationals, anything can and most definitely will happen.

I agree that today there is no "bag" for the Nationals. 15-25 years ago I heard a lot of bets where one would get the field and the other would get the 11 for even money. The guy with the 11 made out pretty good. It would be great to see him get one more.

My point about Lasoski was simply that he does not have the motor strong enough to compete with outlaw motors this year...I mean everything is quote unquote borrowed...i am at knoxville weekly and the dude all year long has simply went out early for qualifying and that's how he gets quick time or a top 5 time...every time he and zoom zoom have started next to each other Zomer has spanked him...ill just let nationals speak for myself...only 27 days...

Yeah, Lasoski can't compete with the Nationals format. 1998, 2001, 2003 and 2004 must have been down years for the Nationals! Anyway Jason Meyers is a driver that should win this year. He's been testing at Knoxville 3 times since May. Sammy is another driver that can win. As far as the locals...I agree Zomer is due for a great finish, and he's beat Lasoski twice this season. Don't count out McCarl, either.
