Website said 7:30. Didn't start til 8:45. With make-up features and a full pits why start so late? Only my second time to Brill since Mark Brill took over. Is this how it is usually ran?

Pesonnaly id like to thank mark brill for giving us fans a place to go. I have been to a lot of tracks over the years that have started late for one reason or other. It seems more and more tracks are struggling to keep the gates open. Thanks mark and all your crew for bringing some good shows that us die hard race fans come watch.

We had makeup Features to be run and Late models, 28 races run Friday Night, so it did start a little later than supposed to, most of the time it gets started on time, but they are doing a good job with the track and with this economy, and have a pretty consistant car count each week.

I'm all for keeping the tracks open and I too applaud the promoters, but one hour and 15 minutes is more than a little late. I know that there are sometimes extenuating circumstances when it comes to dirt tracks. Still, as a fan, I really appreciate a track that can get the races started on time and back on my way home at a decent hour.

The bad thing about really late starts and long programs is the casual or new fan that brings his family to the races they say start at 730 and at 845 ish they start may turn away that fan for a long time..It does happen from time to time and from what I hear Brill has been doing a good job, but all it takes is one really bad night to kill a lot of hard work. Those of us that's die hard racers and race fans tend to deal with it but a lot of people will just leave angry maybe before they see any racing.. Glad I'm not a promoter!! They are always in a really tough spot!

Being as he is atleast a hr from the city and runs on friday i dont know why he doesn't start at 8:00 every week anyway. Gives time for people from OKC and Tulsa to make it without any worries.

I'm not saying anything, but we noticed that you cannot get there on time! All kidding aside, at least you call and let us know that you are going to be late. Usually! :-)

Ya he may have started late with six a features to make up but the intermission was kept to a minimum! BRILLS is still the closest to okc!! No turnpikes to pay and descent pay for so close !! We all need to look at where to race fast !! More and more tracks are closing daily. We may not all like what goes on but this is it, this is what we have!! I like brills, may not agree with everything but thats racing !!! Been there done that THIS IS NOT ALL OUR FIRST RODEO!! One bad night and throw him under the bus. Well I will go back !!!
