I think there is a commercial market for reprints. I would be interested in buying the Mar-Car posters! Not sure what, if any, legal hurdles you'd have to jump through. Thank you for sharing.

If you bring your car to a Holleys get -together, I'll make sure you get a poster and a free BBQ dinner!

I want a copy too! Let's keep making noise on this and see where it goes.

Just talked to Shane on this issue.

Herb told Shane he could whatever so long as the originals were kept well and returned.

Shane told me the thing to do is get copies done by Kinko's for about $20-25 a piece. They have done this before, the copies came out perfect.

--That being said , I need to put this in.

Many times we get into something like this , and requests and promises get made. Well, a lot of times things don't get paid for or done, either way. I am only the messenger here- but I can tell you 'circulation' is key here. There will be no profit from what I understand, but MONEY IN, GETS POSTER OUT. THE MORE TIMES THIS PROCESS OCCURS, THE CREDIBILITY WE HAVE FOR FUTURE PROJECTS.

There is soooo muuuuuccchhh out there waiting to be saved from the 'unappreciative heir' of an estate. Kids and relatives who don't care and throw this stuff in the trash. What is left over from the 40's,50's,60's,70's survived fires, moves, life changes, ANGRY EX-WIVES/GIRLFRIENDS, and just plain neglect. Credible circulation of funds/deeds will make this momentum of saving our history grow, and get more stuff saved before it's all gone. WE NEED THIS STUFF TO GIVE US AN IDEA OF A DIRECTION TO TAKE IN ORDER TO SAVE RACING FROM THIS "CURRENT DOWNWARD SPIRAL".

I am an NCRA supermodified addict, I have no choice but to be here. I have to swallow my failures and make my best moves I have to get to see this stuff come out. My passion for what I have missed keeps me here with you guys. I have no other sport to be obsessed about. nothing else will do for me. I've always been this way and will make fewer apologies for it as I get older. It turns out what was in our backyard -was awesome stuff in comparison to the best racing history in the world. Paying attention and learning proves this.

By the way- I'm not against anybody making a little money from this history stuff- It just seems that a 'no dollar received' approach works best for me to see what I desire.

We have some Enid/Tulsa footage coming in that just may blow all of our socks off! Early reports are very positive, and it could not have happened without Shane Carson, Holleys get-togethers, this website, or Don Engle

Pics, posters, restored cars, model cars, memorabilia, get-togethers all lead to more. From Mike Pogue

The people I was talking about have no idea this site is up. They are not mean people, they just don't understand.

I was NOT singleing you guys out at all.

Your intentions were good already, I knew that.
