Once again a pathetic attempt at track prep at Eldora or did they pave it over the weekend? When is Tony ever gonna figure this out, enough is enough? Jet black with hardly any cushion for qualifying, huh, about half the cars are hitting the wall and how can you blame 'em.
Please don't tell me he doesn't want it to be quick and risk injury to these guys either, they all want to go as fast as possible and want to race as much as he does, dang give them a chance. Newman just compared the track as it stands now to what it was at the END of the feature last year, tell it like it is Ryan. Earl you are missed with each and every lap and I'll bet the majority agree with me, thanks for listening.....

Yes it's very slick already ... but those late models like it that way. It may end up a good race -- might not - but it's still early yet and should be interesting anyway.

I'm at Gas City Nelligan, 37 midgets, 32 sprints and a couple thousand race fans. Drove right past that mess with 25,000 Nascar knuckleheads. It truly is a shame the track is so bad. The local news did show Tony working the track on Monday but it was VERY dry when he was working it.

The track could have been better, but apparently the hot weather and relentless wind made track prep even more difficult.
With that said, I think you are missing the point. Tonights race was about charity and even though the track was less than perfect, the event raised a lot of money for a good cause.
BTW...are you the same MSPN who was whining about all the negative posts, over on David's thread? Are you the same guy who was suggesting that the hoseheads board just isn't what it used to be? Well you just ripped a guy who raised millions of dollars for charity.
You sound like a hypocritical Democrat! Learn to pick and choose your battles! Tonights event wasn't about track prep, it wasn't about MSPN or Hannity, it was about something much more important...it was about kids who need our help!
Congrats to Tony on another successful Prelude to the Dream donation!

Hannity, well spoken as somebody who doesn't have a clue, again. How hard does it have to snow for you to ever get the drift, really? My comments were specific to one subject, the TRACK.
You wisely didn't respond to the other thread but as usual got confused with this one, unbelievable or in your case, predicatable. I did my part tonite for the charity, I paid to view the show, did you? By the way, voted Republican/Conservative all my life and the real Hannity is just as embarassing as the copycat one, sorry.....

You called Eldora's track prep pathetic, suggested that Tony was clueless, and then asked Earl to reconsider retirement. Don't try to sugar coat it. Your response was full of the negativity that you denounced just a couple of days ago.
Please set aside some time for self examination...

Mspn I am pretty sure you have never prepped a track in your life time and have no idea what it takes to work dirt/clay for a racing surface people like you that don't understand this kinda stuff should stick to nascar you don't have a leg to stand on in this other than newmans quote which he wasn't bitching when he said it your post is completely pointless and a waste of everyones life opening this id like to see larry kemp hand you the reins on the track and prep that would be a joke don't worry bud nascar will be on tv tomm you wont have to watch those guys slide around sideways enjoy

I'm entertained because, just like you he made an asinine statement. You claim that I think I'm "cool" and he thinks that nobody but him knows about dirt track racing and cars sliding sideways.
For him, I've been going to dirt tracks for almost 35 years. I think I've seen a car or two go sideways over that time. If you think that you're the only one that's "in the know" then you need to take off the tin-foil hat and join reality.
For you, what gives you the idea that I give a single solitary **** what you or anyone else thinks of me or if I'm "cool"? If someone goes on a message board to be "cool" then they've already lost that battle.
Wanna talk about racing? I'm all about it. I'm a passionate race fan and it's something that I've supported in more ways than the average fan when time and resources have allowed. Wanna make an ass of yourself in a public forum? I'll call you out and laugh at you especially if you're easy to bait. It may be a vice of mine and it has nothing to do with being "cool".
