I have come up with a couple old 100" cars /chassis' from the Oklahoma area with no known history and am looking for some help with identification.I can't incert them into this thread so i'll put them on my facebook page if anyone cares to take a look. Also, you can contact the E-address given and i can send a picture. The blue #25 car came from the Hulbert area and maybe ran some at Tulsa in a 2 barrel class? Who knows where it originated from. It has 2 removeable pieces in the rear roll cage support above the torsion tubes for rear end removal. Typically, they were on the lower frame rail below the rear axle.

The car with the orange side panel has more of a super style cockpit area with the top rail a bit higher than the front clip top rail. It changes heigth at the rear motorplate area.

The bare frame looks like it was hit hard at the right side front cockpit area and was in the process of repair but never finished. I wish I had more details to go on but this is all I know. Any help, ideas or leads is appreciated. thanks, Ron Cubic tincan20-at-hotmail.com

Frame 2

This car could be so many different ones. The only thing that i am sure of is that it is not one of Norman's 3 cars it just doesn't look right. On the 17, 117 & 71 the cages had an x and this car does'nt the same kind. I think the front has been snubbed, both main rails have been replaced. It is a spring front with cross bars on the rear, it looks short and might not be a 100" inch car but that is hard to tell with out everything installed. It has the rear frame with the piece made to remove to replace the rear-end. I do not think the car has been raced since it has been repaired. I do not think that it is a Jelly car, the cage does not look like a Nance, I bet it is a combination of several designs and made in somebody's garage. If anybody know please let me know how wrong I am.

It is great to feel almost normal, they said that I got over the hip replacement faster than normal but I do not like sitting around, please let me know about this car if anybody out there knows, it is great to be back

Ray, you are correct about frame #2....it seems to be a combination of different designs. It seems like it was in the process of repair and then abandoned. It took a good shot to the right side. The right side main rail was straightened (good attempt anyway) but not much else was replaced except the very bottom small rail. The rear is still "caddywampused" in the torsion area....the original welds look pretty nice.

On frame #1 with the orange panel,I notice the main rear hoop of the roll cage is larger tube than any other tubing on the chassis. It has been clipped with this cross torsion front end at the rear motorplate area. I'm wondering if originally it was spring front as there are remnants of what appears to be the original frame rails in that area..I have a few pics of the frame without the panel and perhaps that could jog a memory. The original welds are pretty nice on this one as well.

could this be a reclipped Gilmore chassis? I know Bobby Walked said he only built 2 space frame cars, his and Bruce Moss(?). I may have that last name wrong.
