STENHOUSE IMPRESSIVE IN TRI-STATE’S “TOYOTA CHALLENGE” National-Midgets 05/13/07 Haubstadt, Ind…….Ricky Stenhouse Jr. of Olive Branch, Miss. Took the lead from Davey Ray on the 11th lap of Saturday night’s 30-lap USAC/POWRi National Midget race at Tri-State Speedway and sailed away to an impressive victory in the Tony Stewart Racing Chevrolet/Bass Pro Shops Spike/Chevy. Hud Cone, Darren Hagen, Brad Kuhn and Jerry Coons Jr. rounded out the “top-10” at the checkered flag in the first of three “Toyota Challenge” events. The “Toyota Challenge” continues May 26 and June 16 at O’Reilly Raceway Park in Indianapolis, Ind. Ray led the first three laps, Cone led lap four and Ray led laps 5-10 before Stenhouse took over. “This in unbelievable,” said Stenhouse in victory lane.
