Congrats XXX on the awesome results!! Sorry Allen for starting something that you probably have to delete here but it needed to be said. I applaud anyone trying to create a product for our wonderful sport. It would be ashamed if one of the VERY few positive posts here has to be deleted...

Japan isn't the only country with reason to cry with "americans" that think like you.

Luna's Ford engine style that won 2 WoO titles and 3
Kings Royals before a weight rule against the best EVER
in their prime and now DOMINATES super dirt late model
racing is no longer allowed/wanted in a WoO sprint
car.... Was Luna a miracle worker?

When XXX 1st came on the market, the team I was helping was offered a very cheap deal on a kit car from a local dealer because we destroyed a car Friday night and wanted to race Saturday. I decided I didn't want to try "the foriegn car" due to the same reasons most of you always state. We rushed around all day Saturday and put together an old car and went racing. This was 3 years ago!..............NOW, I would have taken that deal. Why you ask? I don't care where it's made or all the BS at this point. I'm seeing more and more of these cars in victory lane and at their pricing when you're in a tight spot, I wouldn't be concerned to run one!

IF our gas prices keep going up, I'm also going to sell my Dodge Ram and buy Toyota, Honda, Isuzu, Hyundai, etc., etc. Everything in this "great country" costs too much and doesn't work any damn better anyways. We're pricing ourselves right out of everything!!!

Agree with Meatbag. I work hard for my money and if the choice is a brand new XXX or a few-years-old Maxim, the choice is easy for me - XXX. They are an american company, with real people and real support you can speak with. With a price for a frame & body kit that saves you $2,000.

...the least expensive doesn't mean they'll be around forever regardless if American, Japanese, Chinese or whatever...a buddy of mine says that 20% are coming in, 20% are leaving, and the world is built around the middle 60%. That does make sense as I get older and wiser.

It's easy for them to win races when a number of the teams in Pa. are using them but of course Esh and Montieth are no slouches. If running a cheaper chassis can keep guys like Brady Bacon on the road, so be it. He had a good year last year and the few wingless races he ran he was up front. I remember three years ago Brady was struggling a bit running Kahne's JEI wingless cars on the USAC tour. Then he ripped off three wins in a row on the TNT Sprint Bandits tour in the Tel-Starr XXX. Believe he was the series champ too.

Gotta say I miss Haud in the R19 even if it was a stripper X.

Just thought I should add this. I own & operate a small machine shop in central PA, I employee one other machinist other than myself. I read, & read , & read everyone's post about imported race car frames. What the lot of people on this site don't know is how many other parts and or the material that they use to make the parts on sprint cars are imported. So before you go bashing one manufacture you better get the whole story.

I have quote parts(titanium parts) for a well know company whom makes manufactures a part on a sprint cars, & street rods. I like for other company's where told we where to high, the parts are made in China, using Chinese titanium. When you hear of your favourite driver getting hurt because his drive line came apart, blame the cheap parts!!!

Most of them do know about the other manufacturers, it has been mentioned on these posts before. They just ignore them because they (Winters, DMI, Maxim, etc) have been around since before this foreign trade, poilitical BS, and terrorism issues came around. All the companies use foreign products/materials, XXX is just selling it cheaper than the "American" companies!!! I have had 2 XXX cars shipped to my door, both from the state of Washington, sounds like an American company to me, unless we sold Washington to pay off some of our national debt???

The cars were given to (free) top drivers who could probably win in a 10 yr old junk frame so the average Joe can see how good they are a buy one and save money , if they honestly worked better top teams would buy them ,,do some research NO top teams run that junk

A lot of the "top teams" don't buy Maxim, or J&J either. So what's your point?

Can you explain how my "junk" XXX wins races? I am not a "top driver" who can win with anything, just a local boy who can still afford to buy overpriced American made tires because I saved money on my car.........

All the XXX haters are running out of arguements. So far the biggest problem is that XXX (supposedly)gives some cars to a few traveling teams. Are you telling me it is wrong to give away some free product to get your name out when you are trying to get started? You don't think Winters, Pro, Afco, DMI, Wilwood, Brakeman, Weld, Keizer, MPD, Hoosier, Goodyear, HRP, Vortex, and on and on, don't give away free product to these same guys??? Come on people, I can understand not purchasing a brand because you don't like it, but do you really think that they are doing anything different than any other manufacturer? Or is the problem that this "cheaper" company is out running your precious overpriced ones?? How does it feel to know you paid too much for something?

I did not say any of that just you dreaming that you have a car and win races.
