Nice 4 page article about Must See Racing and its founder and sprint fan Jim Hanks in April-2011 CT mag. The guy has done in his life what I only dream of, owned Silver Crown teams, non-winged sprint teams, midgets and now promoter/series founder: Winged 410 sprint cars on pavement, as he calls them, the "ultimate race car, the flat out speed and performance & downforce they get on pavement". The picture, one of many, shows two cars, one sliding sideways on the asphalt and there they were, 8 Hilborn-style stacks sticking out the hood of this winged 410 sprint car, with a thin black air-filter covering the tops, just like the late 60s, early 70s. Very cool. Miss that look. The car's driver was a Ron Koehler, at Anderson Speedway.
Lawlessness and liberalism equals Hell. NY City,
Detroit, Seattle, Chicago, Minnepolis, etc. We saw it.
Burning hundreds of buildings, a thousand assaults and
dozens of murders. Getting worser and worser.
