Looked like Meyers got down a little comin down the straight and Sides decided he wasn't gonna hold back in the turn. Think Sides has decided he isn't gonna hold back at all this season. Good for him. Too bad for the 14 though.

Yeah that was a little dirty! Meyers really needed that finish too. Hope we dont see anymore of that

I sure hope he is. I hope sprint car racing reverts back to its roots. If you dont like old school sprint car racing there is always pussified nascar for you.

it was on speed report.
hard to really tell but it looked like sides came up a bit and got into meyers LR down the straight. meyers held his ground and turned back into him, then sides cleaned meyers out.
i like both guys so i am not choosing favorites, but it sure looked like sides drifted up into meyers and got him out of shape and tried to move him out of the way and then meyers did what he had to do to keep his spot and got clear and then sides just turned meyers around.
to indy and beyond!!

The chopper got spun out ,,youde think more guys would get fed up with being turned down on all the time and spin him more often ,,good job J

the way i see it is if you try to move a guy over down the straight and get into him and get him out of shape, you should expect him to come back on you . it wasn't like meyers just turned down and chopped him. if meyers would have just turned left on sides i could see your point.

Exactly the way I seen it too filtalr. When Meyers fed him the LR, Sides gave him the front bumper.

Tuff luck for Meyers, I'm pretty sure Sides didnt mean to do that he never seemed to be a driver that would do that intentional or anything dirty far that matter on the track.. saying that I'm pumped for Sides on how strong he's started the season and as for Meyers he'll rebound when they come out to Cali look for him to be top three every night.

Thanks for the link S.T.P. It appeared to me that Meyers did turn down (not the first time for hi) and Sides had no room. Say what you want, it looked like hard racing to me, and you cut down like that with no room, you can get exactly what Meyers got. Just my opinion.

I'm not a Meyers fan but I don't think he knew Sides was there. Sides chose to take exception to it and spun Jason around. Not the first time it has happened in racing - perhaps payback for something done to Sides by Meyers in the past?

I admit Sides looks like he took him out, but to an outsider it seems like this conversation goes "Driver X and Meyers" kinda often. Sides, Saldana, and Kinser are three names that come to mind. I'm not going to question him, he has one more WoO championship than I'll ever have, just an observation.
