Looking for pictures of this car from 1970 to 1972 was a medium blue with a red belt line trim. It was bought in Wichita, Ks in 1971 and taken to Wichita Falls, Tx. It is one of three cars built by Jelly and Jack Walker same as the #999 car. I am restoring this car and would like to know the Wichita, Ks. history, do not know the color or number while in Wichita, Ks. Thanks

This is one of those cars that as a kid, would infect me with images of sparkly colors under dusty grandstand lighting. Not knowing the drivers, just taking in the sights.
I'm 43 years old, and am still infected to the core. The NCRA had so many cars like this, in soooo many different shapes and colors- continuosly changing ALL THE TIME!
Beautiful car!

At the old Tulsa track the pits were on the south side by turns 1 and 2. We were just 15 -16 and we set in turn one to see all the cars come through the pet entrance. If you got there early enough you get get up high in the bleachers. It was fun to watch all the out of town cars come in we would try to figure who they were if we didn't know them and guess how they would run. I don't remember the car above but the first time the Tijuana Taxi came in we were blown out of our mind. Sometimes we would know the car and driver like Frankie or Dale Reed. When Emmitt Hahn quit the Bud Mobile to go to the Zink car, Del Torrance the owner hired Jim Harkness to drive for him and we thought hot dog Harold and Emmitt would have some competition, well he took a bad ride in 3 and Del didn't run a car anymore after that, there are pictures of that flip in this site.
