I could be wrong, but I don't believe there is a penalty, you just have to get it approved beforehand. Which for a track that runs Woo, and with a sanctioning body that is not a direct competitor, there would likely be no problems getting the approval if someone wanted to run.

i believe that would be true since SDS is an outlaw track. i believe the outlaw guys can't run any winged sprint car races at any track that isn't on the outlaw schedule with out permission. i still don't think they can run any winged 410 shows within 250 miles from an outlaw show within 48 hrs of an outlaw show without permission. i guess it might not be out of the question for an outlaw driver to run a local car or even put a 360 in if they have one.
to indy and beyond!!

WoO has always had this rule put in place by Ted Johnson. It makes sense as a local track in Cali could offer up a decent purse to draw all the WoO teams but avoid paying the sanction fee.
I believe the rule is they can run at any track WoO visits or they have to be granted permission to race. So to answer the original question, the WoO could race in the Silver Cup. Not sure if any will due to it being a 360 race a low purse (by 410 standards).
