Is there a reason why they didn't run the California ASCS races back to back ~ Friday/Saturday instead of Wednesday/Saturday?

My understanding was that they originally thought they could get Perris for Friday night. Supposed to be Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday.....

so they were going to run in tulare wens, then make a 500 mile round trip down to below LA on fri and come back to 20 miles from where they started for sat? must be because of all those ASCS legal 360's they have down in non-winged 410 country.
i guess anything is possible, but .........?

They have given owner pointd the last 5 years at least. I remember Bobby sparks winning owner points in 2005 with darren Stewart.
