It's Margaret Tabor with an update on Dave's condition. He is getting slightly better everyday, he is still very wore down but his stats all look promising and his heart pump (LVAS or LVAD) is working as it should. Now he has a lot of healing and training with the system before he gets moved to cardio rehab area. He has however been moved up to a different room (out of ICU) and that is a promotion so to speak. I tell him everyday about all your good wishes & prayers, keep them coming. To Greg G. thanx so much for the picture of our car, he has it set up where he can look at it. Also,I went to a support group and afterwards 3 heart transplant patients came to Daves room and spoke with him. That helped to get him pumped! Now, let's all pray for Kathy Kouba's recovery and the Kouba family. It is a tough road for all of us, but we all know about setbacks and we all know to keep on going to do better in the next race so keep that "we can beat this" attitude. Thanks for keeping the Tabors (& Koubas) in your thoughts and prayers!
