With the Outlaws losing Sam Hapertepe Jr. and Ben Gregg the next generation is looking thin. Sam Jr. was looking to be a promissing driver. While Ben Gregg was showing improvement. Are there any drivers you think that have a chance of making it big time with the "Big Boys"

I believe Conley is taking the year off to work on a career in Nascar, but he was on his way to WoO material.

Maybe he will run ASCS cuz I think they put on a lot better show but that's my opinion and I will prolly get hammered over it and hope I didn't misspell anything cuz it seems like some people on here thrive on proper spelling and yes I know it's all run into 1 sentence ha ha

Don't worry, you're not being graded by all but a small minority. As long as people get their thoughts across I don't see any reason for anyone to go through every post with a red pencil pointing out all the spelling and grammar errors. wink

I personally believe there is talented young guns all over that could drive with the WoO. The problem is the cost. Once again the cost is ruining the sport. The ASCS 360's are the best show. The WoO have great drivers but cost is killing the car count. Was hoping to go see them in Bellville but am worried the WoO car count will not be much. Just like the 305's great affordable racing but now the rules get changed so to compete the money gates have to be open to be able to compete.Racing rules are killing their own sport. I hope these young guns can find deep pockets to travel with the WoO

Everyone keeps talking about ascs verses outlaw cost. The only difference is maybe ten grand in a motor and traveling costs as the ascs doesn't travel as much. I agree costs are out of hand but it is at every level. The problem is the guys with the money run the series'. Only the money guys get an opinion on rules. It has always been that way and always will. Until the little guys can start sticking together and boycotting, nothing will change. Nobody is gonna pay to watch 10 cars race no matter what the class?

No word yet on where he'll be racin' maybe with All Stars or maybe he'll jump around and go to local tracks.

Costs are ruining our sport. They were saying that in the 60s when drivers stopped building cars in their garages, including fabricating their own hoods and tanks. They haven't stopped saying it and never will.

Lawlessness and liberalism equals Hell. NY City,
Detroit, Seattle, Chicago, Minnepolis, etc. We saw it.
Burning hundreds of buildings, a thousand assaults and
dozens of murders. Getting worser and worser.

Costs are hurting everyone, especially the local racer. Tire rules need to help the local racer survive, not pad the pocket of the promoters. Sell an enexpensive tire that can be ran more than one night. Good luck to Sam. I hope we will see him more this year at local races.

People were making the same arguments 25 years ago. They'll probably be making them 25 years from now. What will change between now and then? Nothing!

Sam has stated on several occasions that he will be running a true outlaw schedule next season with both 410 and 360 events. He is looking for a ride as well so he doesn't have to be in the family owned car all of the time.
