It was just told to me by some 410 car owner's that Goodyear will not be cutting them any slack for 2011 racing ,At knoxville for example.your thoughts..

The WoO or WRG agreed to this deal with Goodyear , so now it is up to them to go back to Goodyear to get a decent cost on the tires for all the teams everywhere Also there is to be a harder sidewall tire this year .
Cost cutting is imperative now not later for 410 racing survival or we lose more teams or owners

Good! Everybody should pay the same and pull their tires off the same pile.
True or not, rumors of certain drivers getting "special" tires are were/are rampant surrounding Hoosier. Most likely the rumors are a result of special pricing which required purchase away from the track. A late model driver swore to me that he could get a Hoosier stamped with whatever he wanted on it from a Hoosier dealer (thru another driver who was "favored". Eliminating "deals" is a good way to squash those rumors.

I have bought some 25$ hossies too , but they where through a several heat cycles be for I got them , well broken in.
