This year Civil War is not required to run the ASCS motor rule as I understand it.

It appears so, and it's especially dumb when the week prior is open - no Outlaw races scheduled for the 11th or 12th of March. Why force racers and fans to choose between two events when a lot of people would like to go to both?

The September 7th race is on a Wednesday... do not see how an ASCS show would compete with the WoO since it's held prior to the Gold Cup...
If that's what you meant....

sept 7 is not an ascs show. it is a civil war show. did i miss something? also that wens before gold cup is always the annual civil war invitational race. it kicks off the gold cup weekend. i guess the thurs show that is usually the first night of the gold cup will now be a usac show

that's the one i was referring to in the first place. i wonder just how many of the guys who are racing civil war would run the woo show? some of those guys have 410's and with the woo being in the area for multiple shows they might want to run with them at chico. i could be wrong. it seems to me you wouldn't want to have to make your customers (the fans) split ranks for those shows. but i guess if you are getting the money from both shows, it doesn't really matter who goes where.

i'm not saying you might not have a point, but the 2011 long range weather is predicting march and april to be warmer and less wet than normal.

I believe that there is something going on between Handy Racing and the new KWS series. They appear to be on the same nights at different tracks. I for one like to pick and choose which races I would like to attend. The fans loose out with this years schedule. Aw shucks.
