Great times, great food, and good freinds were at Holley's BBQ tonight. I was really good to see Tony Armstrong, Stan Constant, Harold Leep, and many others. The old Racing videos were the best.
Be sure you attend the next one.

I second what Allan posted, was great to see everybody as the turnout was even bigger this time around.
I got there late to see the first wave of people to come in but to see David Grace and Tony Armstrong embrace each other when they saw each other is what also makes this a great deal.
Talked too Charlie Holley and the next one should be around right after the first of the year. He will probably have everybody put on name tags which would give us younger guys a chance to see those guys we watched back in the day.
Always good to see Harold Leep, my childhood idle.
Good times....

I agree with both of them. Armstrong said he was in town for work so that is why he could make it tonight.
There were war stories going on and things that might go on for the future of racing in Oklahoma.
Anytime you get a Brian Satterwhite there, then it is a party lol.I do know that both David and Gil Lambert was there. I did see Marcus Jackson, Duke Hill. Frank Dittman, Shane Carson. Chuck Poff . I did see two Barksdales. I know Cheese was fighting people for food. He actually was bitting people's arms off lol.
I know most of the guys we talk talk about on this post are sprint car guys. I think more of the stock car guys ought to show up as well.

Leep, Armstrong, Carson,Hank Malone, and a slew of others filled that place up.

John Stewart and David Smith loaded me up with more film for you guys for the winter. Lot of work to do , talk later.

Thank you to all who attended Tuesday night’s event. We hope everyone enjoyed the food and the fellowship. We would like to thank everyone for coming out. I think we figured in total about 85 people where there from all generations. We are shooting for the next one to be in January sometime after the Chili Bowl. For next time we are also thinking about a sign in sheet and possible name tags.
Thanks again,
Charles Holley Sr.

If it keeps going as it is you might have to take it outside lol.
