world finals are almost a week away and im pretty much pumped. ive been to some local dirt races but ive never actually seen these sprint cars in person. i literally have no idea what to expect with both the race and the charlotte motorspeedway area, ive read what yall have said but could yall maybe help me out alittle more and just let me know what kind of stuff im really in store for next week? thanks

They are loud and fast. And once you go to a sprint car race you will want to return. Dont sit too close to the fence.

Too bad Meyers already pissed on the party, only thing left to look forward to is the Posse kicking their asses...lol.
Posse has been racing every weekend while the Outlaws have just been laying around fat and happy as usual.
They don't even know how to spell sprint car
much less chromoly...http://www.ycmco.com

The area that the track is in is great. There is lots to do in the day time, great restaurants, shopping and a few good bars after the show. Iron Thunder Saloon is one of my favorites about a mile from the track along with steak houses and a Hooters. The motels in the area are fairly new and clean. Stay away from north Charlotte (8 or so miles from the track), it gets kinda rough at night.
