Good Morning,
Does anyone happen to know where I can find some information on the World Finals? Format, entry list, start time, things to do, etc. I haven't been able to find much on the Charlotte site, so I thought I would ask my fellow race fans on here. Thanks in advance!

Just a suggestion.
On the evening of the 4th, around 8 PM (eastern time) go to...
www.stevekinser.com and he should have the order for time trials...and maybe even the times if they have been completed.
You can follow his site each evening for results. Not too prompt but they get up there.
Oh yes. If you see just the #14....that is Jason Meyers.
Good luck.

Thanks Leon,
We will be watching from the stands. I don't have internet on my phone but will check that site when we get back to the hotel.
Anyone else heading there this year?

I was looking for the same info and found it hard to believe Charlotte has no information on this show. I will be there.

Like the above reply states , go the Charlotte dirt track website , this usually provides the format which qualifying Thursday night
Friday qualifying races , features for all divisions
Saturday , the same except add the modifieds into the mix
with the pit passes you can visit the pits at any time especially during the borinmg time trials or during other boring times and watc what is going on behind the scenes .
Concession food is not that good and is over priced , so you might buy or eat before you come in for the races
Have fun fans

I read somewhere that Thursday night will be time trials for all divisions, plus Fridays heat races for the Modifieds. Friday will be Heats for Late Models and Sprints, consis for all 3 divisions and then features. Saturday will be a full show for all 3 divisions. Get there early cause last year they changed the start time for Saturday. It was earlier than it was originally scheduled.
Hopefully they run the modifieds last so we can leave and go to a bar after the Sprints and Late Models are done.

The World Finals start 2 weeks from today!
I didn't find a ton of info on the Charlotte Dirt Track site... either it's not up yet or I'm not looking in the right spot.
Anyone get their tickets in the mail yet? I'm hoping ours come today or tomorrow.

You won't. The schedule wasn't on there last year either.
Tickets were sent out starting the beginning of September.

Click this link - http://www.visitcabarrus.com - for links to things to see and do around the World Finals while you're in the Charlotte area. Charlotte Motor Speedway is in Cabarrus County, which is home to many NASCAR race shops and museums from Hendrick to Roush-Yates to Ganassi, not to mention the World of Outlaws offices. Only about 30-40 minutes away from The Dirt Track is Mooresville, N.C., which is home to Kasey Kahne Racing and a ton of other racing-related hot spots. You can find out more here - http://www.racecityusa.org
Everybody associated with this event is very excited, can't wait for everybody to roll into town.

Take some really warm clothing. During the day it is great t shirt weather but at night it can get freezing cold. Fried bolony sandwich with one piece of bolony last year was 6 bucks. OUCH
