600 miles, 9 hours from OKC!
Forecast is about as good as it gets for South Texas is December! Highs in the mid-to-upper 70s, lows in the mid to upper 50s, and little or no chance of r--- from Thursday through Sunday. You only have to be there Friday and Saturday. You can leave early Thursday if you want to practice, early AM on Friday if you don't. Weather holds and you'll have great weather to drive home with on Sunday.

I'm sorry but this is exactly what drives up the price of racing... sportmods are the economy class i dont think a special should ever pay over $1000 when you get to paying $4500 to win the amod guys start dropping down and cherry picking these races. The beginning of the end of the sportmods

Well, that's one opinion....
You should love IMCA then because they pay $2000 at their biggest race for 'A' Mods with 200-300 cars showing up. I think when that many cars come you deserve more than $1700 over what the non-qualifier's get. I mean, this is RACING, isn't it? Not kid's soccer.... Let's not even score the laps. Give everybody $300 and a 'thanks for participating' certificate with a little gold star!
