Yeah, why is that better or different? What chassis won the 410 feature?

Rome wasn't built in a day......but they sure didn't
waste any time burning it down!

Mark, I won the 360 deal in a Maxim...and I'm not sure what kind of chassis Chucky runs.

I think (the original poster) (sorry jah42) was just trying to stir the pot. We have had great success with our Wolfweld chassis. Not only have they visited victory lane, but a few got sent to the junk yard as well. Fortunately, our driver has remained safe due to superior craftsmanship and Butler Built seats and safety equipment.

Congrats on your win Robby!

What car were you driving?

Was it the 7k car that you were at Spencer with? I thought I saw a Wolfweld sticker on that car but maybe it was just on the wing.

Anyway a win is a win, congrats!

Same for Chuck, congrats!

Robbie

Hats off to you, your car owner & sponsers, your season and your family. We kinda hung around your pit this spring after a WoO race. Your

whole family were very nice people and you made my little 5 year old a

Robbie Wolfgang fan. (She was the cute little blonde hair girl you put in your car).

Thanks for that..

jah42, in your original post you said "better yet it was in a Maxim not a Wolfweld" (referring to Robby's win) "WHY IS THAT BETTER?"

Acutally, is was the original poster (Racingfan2020, who has since deleted his post) that said the win was even better because Robby won in a Maxim. Jah42 replied and asked why it was better.

The car that I had ran at Spencer, Deer Creek, as well as throughout the 2010 year were Wolfweld's. We had been struggling for a few weeks and Bruce Williams had a maxim car at his shop from previous years, so we put it together and it didn't really cure our problems...it essentially felt really similar to my Wolfweld if it was set up the same. Since the Jackson Nationals we have just left the 360 motor in that Maxim chassis... I am not biased because my dad builds them, but the favorite chassis I have is the Wolfweld that our 410 is in that just got wrecked at Huset's sunday night.

Robby....proving once again that it is easier to mess up a good handling race car than it is to fix a bad one!

Ive been thinking about purchasing a Wolf Weld, I dont think it is purely the name of the car that makes or breaks ones performance rather than the dimensions of the car built , (some say it does?) more or less, IMO its a preferance and most drivers will tell you no two cars react or feel identical , more importantly is the tuning of one vs the other is resposive ( as the post accident chassis ) and keep a high consistancy when chassis unfortuanatly bites the dust .. when running well, most teams will obviously follow suit ,"worked for us in the past", what suspension components midplate ect do you , (Mark n Robby), bolt onto your sleds? I dont belive Doug builds/machines any of the aluminum products correct?
