It is going to be awhile for my webmaster, Jeff, to get stuff setup on the changes that I want to make but one of the massive undertakings that I am dying too do, which I know will go over very well (I think) is a Fairgrounds Past Champions page. This would come complete with the year/division/driver and picture - much like what your seeing on the photo gallery page as we speak.
What I am looking to do is erase everyting on the photo gallery page and each year will have its own picture page. Hard to explain but say you see now there is "2009 NCRA photos" for example. Well that will be called "1972 Champions" with the divisions that competed showing driver/division and hopefully picture of their car in action.
Mike Howard, Galen Kurth and the Daily Oklahomans Scott Munn have originally stated they will help me with this project with pictures and put the pieces together on all the division championships throughout the years.
This will be a massive undertaking that will get started slowly but hopefully hit full gear once racing season is over and my PR and tidbit duties slow down.
But what I want to know first off is, are you interested?

Before I vote what would happen to all the other pics? I think some of the pics on the pic page should be saved and put somewhere.

That is the one page that I would like to keep but would have Jeff make me another page just for the photo gallery. I have saved all those photos that were sent or I took and once that page is built, they would be put on that page. You just wouldn't see them until the winter time or when he has time to make that page.
The reason to do my potential project on the image gallery page is that it is going to be a massive undertaking and if the majority like the idea, the earlier I can get started the better and quicker it will be finished.
So that image gallery now would be called Past Fairgrounds Speedway Champions, and new pages would include image gallery, possible live forum, hoseheads race videos and a tweet page. Possibly more in time but these are preliminary.
