Don't know if it's true, but someone told me that the Piedmont city council approved that property for a race track.

I don't believe that it has anything to do with DRP. The person that told me has nothing to do with racing, but lives in Piedmont. I gave it some legitimacy since he knows nothing about racing. Hell, I've heard about tracks going in all around OKC, but nothing has ever happened.

I looked the area up on Goggle maps and looks really flat. When I looked at the area I thought to myself that area looks like it could flood very easily. Sure enough the area was one of the areas that got the roads closed during the summer rains.
It is a interesting story though.

Lots of tracks get flooded during heavy rains. That maybe because the land is too low for any insurance company to insure against flood damage for any residential use. So, cheap land , out by itself, flood prone, could be a great place to put in a race track. Especially during the dry years (there will be dry years).

That wasn't my implication towards you either.

It is further to the NW of Warr Acres. It is near the Deer Creek, Cashion area.
