Bill Balog picked up his 6th IRA win of the year at the Superior Speedway after starting 9th. He beat the likes of Tatnell, Heskin, Madsen and Whitney.

That would be Ian Madsen, also good job for the #59 Team as night did not start well with getting upside down in the heat and thanks to our team for getting back together and starting 19th and running 5th or 6th tonight. Good job for BB and Team!

Good show last night and blessedly the rain held off until after the races (if you don't count a light sprinkle during the last half of the last event). No question Balog was the class of the the field, but it would have been interesting if Brooke had started mid pack instead of 18th.
Nice run by Danny Heskin in his first 410 outing. Not sure of the exact finishing position but think it was around 12th. Was a little tentative at times, but held his ground and passed a few cars. Car looked to be pretty strong as well.
I don't get to as many IRA shows as I would like, but hats off to the team that runs the races. They always seem to be well organized and move things along well.
See you all tonight!

i was thinking close to 5 but alittle higher but wanted facts so no one one here can say im bad mouthing ira. But facts... 2 of the top 4 havent made all the races and 02 has missed at least 2 shows. I understand that 21j is not racing for points with the ira but i guess thats why its so important to leave earily and make sure you have extra time in case something breaks or happens unexpected.

There are 7 cars that are at 100% with the IRA this season. They are 1M, 23, 2W, 3K, 68, 17B, and 4K. These are the numbers prior to the Northern Swing.

Watching Balog Friday night at Superior was worth freezing my a** off. Congratulations to the winners and travelers at the Jerry Richert Memorial.
