I thought there was to be a ""Big announcment" from TSR during the nationals; other than some gold paint, I heard nothing?

I'm guessing someone heard the phrase "press conference" and assumed "big announcement", and then the rumors started to spread.

Get ready, race fans! Tony Stewart Racing has a loaded Knoxville Nationals week coming up...gear up for some exciting announcements coming soon!
Well , whatever you want to call this I guess... exciting-big--- whatever.. so, not much exciting either I suppose...

Maybe it was the Gold Standard along with the Test Drive with TSR. Both were pretty cool, just not what the fans were expecting by "Big Announcements"
Did anyone do the Test Drive? Seems like a cool idea but I havent heard how it went from anyone who took part in it.

Press releases are purposely designed to get your attention. I think this would have to come under the category of "ha, ha, made ya' look!"
