This may be the year of upsets......
- Tim Shaffer beats Donny to win Knoxville Nationals
- Kerrry Madsen nearly won the KR over Kinser
- Maybe a WoO driver will win the National Open?
- Maybe a California driver will win the Gold Cup?

Kerry Madsen nearly won the KR over Kinser. Sadly this doesn't qualify as an upset. I wish it had been an upset though. I've watched Madsen run for many years at Knoxville and back then I never would of thought he would damn near outrun the King at the King's Royal. Very cool indeed.
