Who the hell picked those drivers for Thursday night? Is it just the luck of the draw?

Not sure what you're talking about. Wednesday night has 12 possible winners to Thursday's 9.

Bye bye, Hardhat!

I've looked at lineups, I count 12 possible winners on Wed night compared to a slim 9 on Thursday night. I certainly wouldn't call thursday loaded? Also, I see no Tim Keading listed. A proven pre-lim night winner, unless I've missed his name.

I wonder if these lists will change, all the KKR cars are going Wednesday night and both the TSR cars going Thursday...that doesn't make sense. Plus, there are few cars not on the list like Tim Kaeding and Dale Blaney.

I had a recount and put it at 9 contenders each night, just my opinion though.

the TSR cars make perfect sense.... 2nd and 4th in WoO points.. but I do not understand the 1st and 6th place cars being on the same night...

Assuming you are talking about contenders to win Sat night, where in the heck do you come up with 18 contenders?

I count more like 4 Wed and 5 on Thurs and that is being generous.

Realistically there are only about 5 or 6 cars that have better than 20 to 1 odds of winning Sat night.

I can't even find 18 cars that I'd call a lock for the A on Sat.

I'm looking at Knoxville Outlaw feature winners, Outlaw stars and a few ring ins, of course on the night there won't be 6-8 max that have a hope in hell of taking it out, but until then I say it's open to interpretation.

...and with 50 laps, reds, fuel stops, etc., it is very possible for a long-shot to pick up the win.

But I agree....you have about five cars with a real chance at the win.

Hers what I got....

Wednesday possibles-Madsen,Dollansky,Saldana,Myers,Brown,J.Johnson,Dover,Stewart,Hererra and Sides.

Thursday possibles-Sammy,Lasoski,Kinser,Schatz,Walker,McCarl,Tatnell and I'll "give you" Smith/Hodnett as a wild card.

TK is a wild card also in whichever night he runs also.

I'd say Wednesday looks better.....But the Steve and Sammy show will be on for maybe the last time?

Of course I think Sammy will win it all on Saturday so it really won't matter Smile

The older I get, the faster I used to be.

That's what I'm seeing kooks. I'm talking about guys that are an absolute threat to make it through all the qualifing , heats, mains and scrambles and stand on the top of the podium for the 50th. IMO Wed. night you've got Saldana & Meyers. After that Sides and Dollansky are much longer odds. Thurs. I'm seeing Swindell, Dude, Steve Kinser and Schatz. After them Tatnell, Walker, Haud, S Smith. If I were one of the dark horse drives I know which night I'd pick. That being said I would love to see someone more of a underdog win. Just not likely.

Looks like 8 car inverts unless a few more cars enter.

Why would that affect the invert?
